DIRECTOR (CIVIL ENGINEERING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT)
Shaun is a trusted Transport Infrastructure Engineer and Project Manager. He has experience in all aspects of the project management, design and delivery of Motorway, Highway and Road projects.
The majority of Shaun’s career has been spent delivering road projects in constrained environments where taking a practical approach is critical. Shaun leads projects to a best value for money outcome whilst ensuring safety is not compromised.
In addition to Shaun’s Road Planning and Design Skills, he is also a very well-known and trusted Project Manager. Shaun has been delivering projects as the Client Project Manager or Consultant Project Manager since 2007.
DIRECTOR (ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING & ITS)
Daniel is an industry leading Intelligent Transport System and Electrical Engineer (ITS&E). He has worked as a designer and certifier on a wide range of projects including traffic signals, road lighting, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), outdoor area lighting, high voltage and building services projects.
His engineering expertise spans numerous project aspects – from planning through to commissioning.
Daniel has been a lead engineer on some of the biggest and most challenging infrastructure projects in Australia.
He has an excellent understanding of ITS&E requirements and how to integrate them into the overall civil/structural design. Daniel has presented papers at two Australian ITS Summits detailing interesting local projects.
Kate is a registered professional engineer (RPEQ) and leads our civil engineering team. She is experienced in the delivery of multi-disciplinary transport projects in the planning, design and construction stages. This includes the successful delivery of various planning and detailed design projects for the Department of Transport and Main Roads and the City of Gold Coast.
Kate is passionate about road safety and has dedicated a considerable amount of her career to road safety projects and regularly undertakes training to stay up to date with industry best practice. Kate has considerable experience completing safe system assessments, roadside hazard assessments as well as designing road safety barriers.
Kate works closely with our clients to ensure their objectives are met.
Matt leads our team of designers and drafters. He is a Principal Civil Designer with 15 years’ experience in the transportation and land development business sectors. Matt has extensive experience in the production of road, highway and motorway design schemes including including intersections, drainage and bulk earthworks.
Matt is proficient with PUP conflict identification and management including mitigation designs for sewer and water reticulation.
Matt also has experience in the development of federated BIM models for major road and highway projects.
Matt is a proven design leader who can manage the delivery of complex designs.
As our Office Manager, Veronica works to ensure that R&H operates efficiently and effectively. She brings a variety of skills and expertise in Finance, HR, Office and Administration.
Matt has an unparalleled understanding of TMR ITS and Electrical requirements. Matt is a qualified electrician and his electrical and ITS expertise spans the entire project lifecycle from planning through to commissioning, operation and maintenance.
Matt has been involved in the construction and commissioning of some of the biggest and most challenging transport projects on the Gold Coast.
Glenn has a wealth of experience undertaking designs for lighting, traffic signal and intelligent transport systems (ITS) for transport projects, including major M1 interchange projects, Light Rail and the Coomera Connector.
Matt has over 20 years of design and drafting experience that has been gained primarily on road and intersection upgrade projects for the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
Matt is a leading road design professional and is proficient in the use of road design software including 12d and AutoCAD.
Chris has over 6 years of combined experience in the public and private sectors as an Intelligent Transport System and Electrical Engineer (ITS&E). He has worked as a designer and project manager on a wide range of projects focussed on traffic signals, road lighting and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). His engineering expertise spans numerous project aspects – from planning through to commissioning and ongoing operation and maintenance.
Chris started his career as a Graduate Electrical Engineer over 6 years ago with TMR and has been working on transport projects continually since. He has an excellent understanding of ITS&E requirements and how to integrate them into the overall civil/structural design.
Chris has presented papers at Australian ITS Summits and public sector seminars, detailing interesting local projects.
Wayde Stapleton has 25 years experience in the Engineering industry, is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), a professional member of Engineers Australia (EA), and the Institute of Public Works Engineers of Australia (IPWEA).
Wayde is an expert of civil design software including 12da model, with a background in Civil Infrastructure design. Throughout his 25 year career Wayde has been the lead road designer and Stormwater drainage designer on many of Southeast Queensland's major State and Local government projects.
The experience Wayde has gained over his career has provided the safety in design expertise, to manage and undertake Road Safety Audits.
Aitor is an RPEQ with over 8 years of experience in the engineering industry. Throughout his career, he has designed and implemented electrical systems across various industries, including steelmaking, rail transport, marine, and solar. He is experienced in designing electrical wiring diagrams, PLC programming, HMI design, lighting design, and cable routing. Aitor also has experience undertaking electrical testing and the design of Off-Grid solar, Stand-Alone, and Marine electrical systems. At Roesner and Hamilton, Aitor is using his experience to design electrical infrastructure on transport projects.
Daniel Faint is a creative, problem solving Engineer with over seven years of experience across Civil Engineering construction and design. He has been involved in managing a variety of construction projects as well as designing urban and rural road upgrades, and stormwater projects.
Daniel is proficient in a wide range of software including 12D, 12D Drainage, PC Drain, XP Storm, Autocad, Civil 3D, Python, Microsoft Excel and VBA.
Jethro is a Civil Engineer with experience in the delivery of transport infrastructure projects. Most recently Jethro has been delivering road upgrade designs including safety barrier assessments. Jethro started his career with R&H as a Civil Drafter whilst completing his Bachelor of Civil Engineering and as a result he is well versed in the development of technical drawings for road upgrades to both TMR and Council standards.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Electrical & Electronic). He is delivering road lighting, ITS and traffic signal designs for Transport and Main Roads (TMR) and City of Gold Coast.
Angela has a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). Upon joining Roesner and Hamilton in 2022, Angela worked as an Undergraduate Engineer whilst completing her studies at Griffith University. Angela has been assisting with engineering tasks for road and transport projects including engineering assessments for an Autonomous Vehicle trial.
Phillip has a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronic Engineering. He produces traffic signal, ITS and lighting designs for TMR and Local Government.
Since graduating from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Design, Adam has decided to pursue a career in the consulting engineering industry. He is applying his design qualification and experience to the production of engineering drawings in accordance with TMR and Local Government Drafting and Design Presentation Standards. Adam is also developing his skills in 3D modelling of transport infrastructure.
Laura produces engineering drawings in accordance with TMR and Local Government Drafting and Design Presentation Standards. Laura holds qualifications in Design, Project Management and Engineering.
Ivan produces engineering drawings in accordance with TMR and Local Government Drafting and Design Presentation Standards.
Molly is responsible for office administration including maintaining and auditing our Quality Management System, Safety Management System and supporting the delivery of our projects across Contracting and Consulting. Molly is also responsible for social media and keeping our pantry and fridge stocked with food and drinks for our staff, clients and guests.
Renae is working as an electrical engineering intern. She is currently assisting with the delivery of traffic signal, road lighting and ITS projects.
